Summer Solstice

Solstice 2012 is here, the longest day of the year! In England, the most celebrated time is now, when many Druids, and modern groups gather at Stonehenge to watch the rising of the sun over the stone monument as it lines up with the outer heel stone. It has been a sacred time for the ancient Celtic people for millenia. It has also been named Midsummer, and tonight is the midsummer's night dream! Your dream will come true- what you intend manifests for you (and me)!
Molly Hall of about.com writes "Now is the time for ripening of what was set in motion at Spring Equinox, going with the solar rhythm of seasonal intention setting. Friends in the Southern Hemisphere experience June solstice as the longest night, for soulful reflection on life's work and legacy."
